Submission

Extended abstract submissions

EuAReman 2026 welcomes extended abstract submissions related to the workshop themes. The purpose of these submissions is to enable authors to present their work, receive feedback from the workshop community, and discuss ideas with researchers and practitioners working in remanufacturing and related fields. EuAReman should be seen as a forum for constructive discussion and feedback, particularly for work that authors may wish to further develop and submit to suitable venues after the workshop, subject in all cases to the scope, deadlines, and peer-review requirements of those venues.
Please note that acceptance of an extended abstract at EuAReman does not imply journal publication. Authors should not interpret submission to the workshop as a publication route to any specific journal or special issue. The workshop is intended to support the presentation of work, discussion, and feedback, and no formal workshop proceedings should be assumed.
Authors must prepare their submission using the EuAReman extended abstract template, available for download from this page. Extended abstracts must not exceed 2 pages. Authors are asked to replace the sample text with their own content while keeping the formatting of the template. The file should be renamed as: Surname_Name_EuAReman.docx.
The template includes sections such as Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgements, and References. EuAReman also welcomes submissions of a conceptual nature, including position papers — for example, contributions centred on a new idea, concept, framework, or approach. For submissions of a conceptual nature, including position papers, authors may depart from the full template structure where appropriate; in particular, the “Results and Discussion” section and the inclusion of a figure or table are not mandatory if they are not relevant to the contribution.
Authors are encouraged to ensure that their extended abstract is clear, concise, and consistent with the template as far as applicable to the nature of their submission.

Poster submissions

EuAReman 2026 also welcomes poster submissions through a dedicated Poster Submission track in Microsoft CMT.
There is no official poster template for this track. Authors are invited to prepare and submit their poster as a PDF file in A1 format.
Poster submissions are intended to support discussion and visibility of emerging work at the workshop. As with extended abstracts, poster submission should not be interpreted as a journal publication route or as part of formal workshop proceedings.

How to submit

All submissions are managed through Microsoft CMT. Authors wishing to submit an extended abstract or poster will need to log in to Microsoft CMT and, if they do not already have an account, create one before starting the submission process.
The organising committee is exploring the possibility of offering local poster printing in Palermo, so that poster presenters may not need to travel with a printed poster. This service is not confirmed yet, and authors should not rely on it until further notice is published on the workshop website or communicated to poster authors directly.
