Francesca Stigliano

Francesca Stigliano is a credit analyst and subsidised finance specialist at SIMEST SpA, the company of the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) Group dedicated to supporting the internationalisation of Italian enterprises.

She joined SIMEST in May 2020 as Junior Credit Analyst in the Export Finance and Internationalisation division. In this role she manages subsidised credit lines — including those funded by the European Union under Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) — and coordinates the resources of her team.

Her responsibilities have expanded over time: she has served as Istruttoria Finanza Agevolata Nord (Subsidised Finance Appraisal – Northern Italy), where she managed the assessment and disbursement of SIMEST’s concessional financing instruments for enterprises across Northern Italy, including the “Ristoro Danni” (damage relief) measure for export-oriented companies affected by natural disasters in Tuscany and other regions.

More recently she holds the role of Associate Supply Chain Support, contributing to the SIMEST initiative “Filiere d’Impatto” — a programme that enables SMEs within the supply chains of major Italian industrial groups (such as Fincantieri and MAIRE) to access subsidised finance for innovation, sustainability, digital transition and internationalisation.
