Edoardo Comparetto is a professional in structured finance and export credit, currently serving as Relationship Manager – SME Sales South at SACE (the Italian Export Credit Agency of the CDP Group), with responsibility for SMEs in Sicily and Calabria.
Before joining SACE (October 2023), he worked for approximately four years at UniCredit: initially in Structured Loans Operations and Participant Loan Agency (Munich/London), and later as a Structured Finance Associate in Milan, where he was involved in structuring financing transactions for large corporates, business plan analysis, financial modelling, and credit documentation.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA, summa cum laude) and a Master of Science in Banking, Financial Markets and Corporate Finance (summa cum laude) from Università Carlo Cattaneo – LIUC. His academic experience also includes an Erasmus semester at Glasgow Caledonian University and a period at the W. P. Carey School of Business – Arizona State University (GPA 4.07/4). He also holds an ESG Corporate Advisoring certification from POLIMI Graduate School of Management.
He has participated as a speaker at events focused on digital transformation at SACE and on Italy–USA trade relations, in collaboration with Sicindustria and the Enterprise Europe Network.
